When Andi sent me the mountain monkey, she included this
photo journal of his
latest camping trip, including commentary.

A typical campsite. I generally look for a flat sleeping bag site
with lots of sites for bouldering after dinner.

I love the monkey and I love that Andi is so amazingly talented!
ReplyDeleteOh, and does Andi have an Etsy shop or anything?
ReplyDeleteSock Monkey! You need to check out this book: http://www.amazon.com/Adventures-Tony-Millionaires-Sock-Monkey/dp/1569714908/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1282709178&sr=1-1
ReplyDeleteThere are a couple of creators here...Andi the first, and Nicki the second. This guy is fabulous. He is fully outfitted for the outdoors. He is maybe Italian, you think, with his accordian (got to have music), so adorable for the best and the greatest times, being that at home in the semi-wild. Andi has made him look pretty civilized, but full of those possibilities that Nicki sees.
ReplyDeleteBy the time monkey had traveled over to Nicki, Andi had tutored him well in the ways of the outdoors. This guy likes fun.
ReplyDeletetoo funny! what a cool monkey! the accordion is hilarious, and the rock-climbing, right on!
ReplyDeleteHe's a Leave No Trace master.
ReplyDeleteNicki, tell how you had to finally hide him when Danika came to visit because she kept bugging him and kept trying to put on his backpack.
LOLOL!!! (about Danika)
ReplyDeleteUm, Nikki (by the way, that's the correct spelling of her name, according to me) tell everyone how you had to hide from EVERYONE due to fear of monkey-napping!
I love the idea of traveling with the gift and including the story inside. I will use it for my girls' pen pals!
